Sunset Lake Cannabis

Tucked away in Vermont’s Champlain Islands, this Certified Farm's beginnings are rooted in Vermont dairy. The farm with which they share their name, Sunset Lake Farm, produces milk and cream for Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream and is a long-standing member of their Caring Dairy program.

In 2021, Vermont legalized recreational cannabis for adult use, and Sunset Lake Cannabis was founded by the same farmers that brought vermonter's their beloved Sunset Lake CBD!. The team at Sunset Lake Cannabis brings a passion for sustainable agriculture to cannabis farming— careful to preserve their land for future use. They grow their cannabis crop under the Vermont sun with regenerative farming practices including Integrated Pest Management (IPM), cover-cropping and crop rotation. Like all of the farms we certify, the fine folk that make up Sunset Lake Cannabis are committed to reducing its environmental impact.

In 2025 they became a Sun+Earth Certified farm which means they live up to our rigorous certification standards and they are verified use regenerative organic farming practices to produce their sun-grown cannabis and products. Sunset Lake meets each of the Sun+Earth pillars, which also includes sustainable work agreements to employees and supporting their local community.
